Belarusian gymnasts will be allowed to participate in international competitions

The Executive Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) plans to allow Belarusian and Russian athletes to compete under the auspices of the organization from January 1, 2024, Minsk-News reported.

Belarusian gymnasts will perform in a neutral status. Who and how will be granted such a status will be prescribed in a special document. FIG announced its registration in the coming weeks.

We have posted that the International Olympic Committee has not yet announced whether Belarusian athletes will be able to participate in the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
