Belarusian IT-specialists have created a debit card for the Spanish market
Fintech company ID Finance with a development office in Minsk has created an off-bank product Plazo for the Spanish market - an electronic debit card with the possibility of overdraft, tut.by reports.
The development team started working on the project in August 2020 and the product was launched in early April 2021. They plan to scale the service to the Mexican market, where ID Finance also operates.
Minsk became the technical center of Plazo development. The team of the Belarusian IT company was involved in the project from the very beginning: searching for vendors, conducting negotiations, discussing functionality, collecting and formalizing requirements, developing the project and its applications from scratch. Apps allow you to identify the client using OCR technologies, issue a virtual card and provide the full set of functionality necessary for the client to work with cards. The team also created a CRM system for customer support, implemented the technical ability to link cards to the ApplePay and GooglePay services and make an overdraft. The security of issuing cards and conducting transactions is provided by ID Finance's technology partner - PeckunPay.
— To develop the project's mobile app, we used the Flutter software platform. It allows you to run apps for iOS and Android almost simultaneously, since a single code base is used. The project also uses reactive programming technologies to ensure maximum performance for our future customers — said Es Card Project Manager Ivan Zaretsky.
E-banking allows you to get a full range of online banking services without leaving your home, working without traditional physical branch networks.
