Belarusian Medical University invites you to celebrate Holi

The Belarusian State Medical University will celebrate the Holi festival on March 18 at 4pm, the university's website writes. Location:  Dzerzhinsky Avenue 83/6 (parking area between dormitories No. 5 and No. 6 of BSMU).

The Holi festival symbolizes the arrival of spring and the beginning of the New Year in Hinduism. Its main tradition is sprinkling bright coloring powders on each other. The Holi festival is mentioned in ancient Sanskrit texts and described in detail in the Vedas.
