Belarusian Medical University is accredited by the World Federation for Medical Education

In order to increase international prestige and recognition in the world market of educational services, an external expert commission of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency was invited to the Belarusian State Medical University in December 2021, the university's website writes. 

After the work of the commission, on January 28, 2022, the university for the first time received international institutional and program accreditation for the specialties of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy. The accreditation confirmed the compliance of the university's activities and implemented educational programs with the requirements of the standards of the World Federation of Medical Education.

According to the results of the examination, the University is accredited for a maximum period of 5 years with the possibility of further extension.  This gives the university international recognition and comparability of the qualifications awarded, opportunities for integration into the global educational space and strengthening of competitive positions.
