Belarusian pentathletes Maruk and Fedotko advanced to the semifinals of the World Cup

Belarusians Maxim Maruk and Maxim Fedotko reached the semifinals at the first stage of the Modern Pentathlon World Cup in Cairo, Belarus Today writes.

Marchuk took the third place in the qualifying group, and Fedotko - the sixth. Other Belarusians Nesterov and Polozkov failed to qualify for the semifinals.

The competition continues, and the men's semifinals are scheduled for March 8.

The World Cup is a qualification tournament for the 2024 Olympic Games, and the results affect the world ranking.
