Belarusian polar explorers to go to Antarctica in early November

The team of the 16th Belarusian Antarctic Expedition will go to the ice continent in early November, BelTA reported.

The main task of the expedition is the development of the Belorussian station in Antarctica. The team will consist of 13 people. Seven specialists already have experience in Antarctica, the remaining six are newcomers. Scientific staff make up half of the expedition.

Let us remind you that the Belarusian Academy of Sciences is expanding cooperation with several countries.
