Belarusian rock climbers will be allowed to international competitions

The Executive Committee of the International Sports Climbing Federation will allow Belarusian, as well as Russian athletes to compete in 2024, Sputnik reported.

It claims that athletes will have to obtain "neutral licenses" as a prerequisite for registration at competitions. In the meantime, the decision on the removal of climbers from Belarus, adopted in March 2022, remains in force.

It is still unclear whether Belarusians will be able to participate in the Olympic Games in Paris, which will be held next summer.

Last week, Belarusian rowers were also allowed to participate in international competitions.
