Belarusian scientists are developing new vaccines

Belarusian scientists are actively working on the creation of new vaccines, including vaccines against avian influenza (H5N1) and human papillomavirus (HPV), Sputnik writes.

In the context of global outbreaks of H5N1, which can provoke a new pandemic, experts are striving to create a domestic vaccine to ensure independence from external supplies.

A vaccine against HPV, which is the main cause of cervical cancer, is also being developed.

The project is aimed at increasing the level of protection of the population and strengthening the scientific potential of Belarus in the field of biotechnology.
