Belarusian scientists are working on import substitution

Belarusian scientists have focused their efforts on working with import substitution enterprises. Chairperson of the National Academy of Sciences' Presidium told what developments scientists are working on, BELTA reports. Recently we also wrote about the developments of the Belarusian State University, which were presented at an exhibition in Uzbekistan.

The NAS has already compiled a list of developments for implementation. Currently, the priority areas for work are mechanical engineering, electronics, instrumentation, high technology and pharmaceuticals. Among enterprises, maximum efforts will be directed to work of the Minsk Automobile Plant, the Tractor Plant, the Belarusian Automobile Plant, Horizont and Integral electronics plants.

Several research programs in various fields are planned for 2022. For example, it is hoped to complete the development of the Belarusian satellite by the end of the year. Emphasis is also placed on the development of pharmaceutical products.
