Belarusian scientists design electrohouses

Belarusian scientists are working on the design of electrohouses, reports belta.by.

NAS actively participates in projects related to the digital transformation of energy, increasing energy consumption. The Academy of Sciences in general and The Institute of energy in particular were the founders of the idea of building multi-apartment electrified housing in Belarus. 

In such a house, you can integrate renewable energy: solar panels, heat pumps, and the use of waste water. According to the scientist, a unique smart meter was developed for this project, which shows the consumption of both water and electricity.

It was planned to build such a house in Minsk. "There are still problems, but this year the design documentation will be fully ready. Then it can be built anywhere," said the director of the Institute of energy of the National Academy of Sciences
