Belarusian scientists have created new varieties of vegetables and fruits
Breeders of the agricultural sector of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus have bred new varieties of vegetables and fruits, Minsk-News writes.
Among them are various types of potatoes, berries, cucumbers and even beans. Some varieties, such as "Mastak" and "Karsan", promise good yields and shelf life.
It is essential to note the appearance of varieties with pigmented tubers, such as "Sapphire" and "Lego". In addition, new varieties of spring garlic and apricots have been created.
Work is also underway to develop commercially profitable berry varieties and improve the production technologies of branded juices.
