"Belarusian sculpture of the XVII-XVIII centuries": A unique exhibition opens at the National Art Museum of Belarus

The exhibition "Belarusian Sculpture of the XVII-XVIII centuries", which opens on January 26 at the National Art Museum of Belarus, will feature 90 works from the museum's collection, including wooden, carved and polychrome sculptures, BelTA writes.

About 20 exhibits have been specially restored for the exhibition, and some of them will be presented to the public for the first time.This unique collection demonstrates a variety of styles and techniques, testifying to the high level of sculpture development in various regions of Belarus.

The last such exhibition of polychrome sculpture was held in 2013, making the current event important for viewers of Belarusian art. The exhibition will be available to visitors until April 7.
