Belarusian skaters set two national records

Ekaterina Chistaya and Nikita Migdalev cracked national records at the Belarusian Short-track Championships, Sputnik reported.

Migdalev achieved the record in the super final, passing the last distance in 4 minutes 45.24 seconds. He cracked the record set in 2016 by more than 3 seconds.

Ekaterina Chistaya passed 3 thousand meters in 5 minutes 9.864 seconds. The previous achievement in 5 minutes 13.340 seconds was set in 2011.

In January, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka has got to the second position in the WTA international tennis ranking. Sabalenka is still holding the position.
