Belarusian startup to detect pneumonia

Belarusians have launched a startup Covid-Ray, which helps detect pneumonia based on a digital image with an accuracy of up to 91%, onliner.by reports.

The service is based on a neural network that operates on the basis of the IBA Cloud cloud service. Based on the X-ray image, artificial intelligence can detect various pathologies in the lungs, such as inflammation or pneumonia. After processing the images, the service indicates the percentage of the probability of various diseases, but the final diagnosis is made by a doctor.

Belarusian medical institutions are already using this startup. Covid-ray helps doctors to diagnose pathology even with mild or asymptomatic pneumonia. It is noted that the service is already used by foreign clinics.

To get an analysis, you need to upload the image to the service's website and in a second Covid-ray will already examine the condition of your lungs. Then you can save, print and show the result to the doctor to establish an accurate diagnosis. This service is a good way to automate the processing of radiographs in medical institutions.
