Belarusian team took 2nd place at CIS Games 2023

The Belarusian national team took second place in the overall medal standings at the II Games of the CIS countries, Sputnik reported. The first place was taken by the Russian national team, which included almost 500 participants.

Belarusian athletes have won 236 medals: 48 gold, 78 silver and 110 bronze. The most medals were won in athletics - 39.

The Russian national team collected 288 medals. The third place in the team standings was taken by the team of Uzbekistan, which has a total of 105 medals.

Let us remind you that the decision on the participation of Belarusians in the 2024 Olympic Games will be made in October.
