Belarusian tennis players will participate in Australian Open 2023

The Australian Tennis Federation will not suspend athletes from Belarus from participating in the Australian Open Championship, Sputnik reported.

Many sports federations have imposed restrictions on the participation of Belarusian athletes in tournaments after February 2022. However, representatives of the Australian Open told they would not suspend Belarusian players.

Australian Open 2023 will be held from January 16 to January 29 in Melbourne. In addition, Belarusians will participate in the 2024 Olympic Games.
