Belarusian winners of the Beijing Games will help sports schools

The 7th stage of the Olympic Choice campaign will start in Belarus on February 4, the day of the official opening of the XXIV Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, BELTA writes with reference to the website The Presidential Sports Club.

During the campaign, each Olympic champion and medalist from the national team of Belarus will be able to choose a specialized educational and sports institution, to which the Presidential Sports Club will provide gratuitous (sponsorship) assistance. The funds received will be used to strengthen the material and technical base, organize and conduct competitions, as well as participate in them.

The amount of financial assistance for the 1st place will be BYN25 thousand ($ 10 thousand), for the 2nd place — BYM20 thousand ($8 thousand), for the 3rd place — BYN15 thousand ($6 thousand).
