Belarusians are allowed to participate in Asian Olympic Committee competitions

Athletes from Belarus and Russia were not allowed to attend the Asian Games, as the IOC did not approve this initiative. Now Belarusian and Russian athletes have been allowed to compete under the auspices of the Olympic Council of Asia, Sputnik reported.

At the same time, Belarus has not yet received an official invitation to the 2024 Olympics in Paris. However, athletes who are admitted to international competitions in a neutral status have the opportunity to get to the Olympics.

Last week, a Belarusian took silver at the World Wrestling Championships.
