Belarusians entered the top 5 ratings of the International Boxing Association

The International Boxing Association has published world rankings of boxers and countries, BelTA reported.

Six representatives of Belarus entered the world rankings in their weight categories. Alexey Alferov takes the 3rd place in the category up to 80 kg, Evgeny Karmilchik is in the 4th position among boxers in the weight up to 48 kg.

The IBA has also introduced a new rating system, according to which athletes are awarded points for performances at major international competitions. Belarus ranks 40th among 119 countries.
