Belarusians have won three awards of the Paralympic World Championship

Belarusians have won three awards on the first day of the Paralympic World Ski Championships among athletes with visual and musculoskeletal disorders in Lillehammer, Norway, BELTA writes.

The first gold in the 10 km ski race among the visually impaired was brought by Svetlana Sakhonenko. Valentina Shits took silver at a distance of 7.5 km among wheelchair users. The bronze medal was awarded to Yuri Golub in the 12.5 km race among the visually impaired.

Then the athletes are waiting for the final stage of the World Cup before the Paralympics-2022. The Winter Paralympic Games will be held in Beijing from March 4 to 13.
