Belarusians Kurochkina and Kolodinskaya became three-time European freestyle wrestling champions

Belarusian sportswomen Irina Kurochkina and Vanessa Kolodinskaya became European freestyle wrestling champions in their weight categories, Sputnik reports.

This is the third victory of both sportswomen at the European championship.

Vanessa Kolodinskaya won in the weight category up to 53 kg, defeated the Swedish athlete Emma Malgrem. Irina Kurochkina won in the 57 kg category, defeating Evelina Nikolova from Bulgaria.

Both athletes take part in the championship in a neutral status. Kolodinskaya and Kurochkina have previously won European championships, and also have victories at world championships.
