Belarusians took 2nd and 3rd places on the first day of SAMBO World Cup

The 2023 SAMBO World Cup has started in Kyrgyzstan. Belarusian athletes won one silver and two bronze medals on the first day of the competition, Minsk-News reported.

Vladislav Sayapin took 2nd place in the weight category up to 79 kg, Ilya Lomivorotov took 3rd place. Sergey Lesyak took 3rd place in the category over 98 kg.

Athletes from Armenia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Cameroon, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus participate in the SAMBO World Cup.

The next stage of the competition will be held on August 23.
