Belarusians will be able to get to the Kaliningrad region by train
Since July 17, Belarusian citizens have the opportunity to travel by rail to the Kaliningrad region, belta.by reports.
In accordance with the resolution of the Council of Ministers of July 14, 2021 No. 401, restrictions on crossing the state border for citizens of Belarus traveling to Kaliningrad and vice versa have been lifted.
The Belarusian Railways reminded that to travel from Belarus to the Kaliningrad Region through the territory of Lithuania, citizens of the Republic of Belarus need to have a Schengen visa.
Currently, trains No. 30/29 "Kaliningrad – Moscow", No. 80/79 "Kaliningrad – St. Petersburg" and No. 360/359 "Kaliningrad-Adler" run through the territory of Belarus in connection with the Kaliningrad region. Travel on these trains is provided only for citizens of Belarus and Russia.
