Belarusians won three gold medals at World Youth Draughts Championship

The World Draughts-64 Youth Championship has ended in Bulgaria, BelTA reported. In total, the Belarusian team won 24 medals.

Two-time world champion in the under-20 category was Belarusian Maria Chesnokova. In the same age category, Victoria Nikolaeva and Stepan Doroshenko became silver medalists in the blitz.

The gold medal of the youth championship in the classic game among athletes no older than 27 years old was won by Belarusian Vladislav Valyuk, also on the account of the draughtsman silver in the blitz.
