Belavia aircraft will replenish the second Embraer 195-E2

On March 13, a new Embraer 195-E2 arrived at the Minsk National Airport, which became the second aircraft of this type in the fleet of Belavia, the press service of Belavia reports.

The aircraft is distinguished by an unusual jubilee livery: on the tail there are numbers "25", and on the fuselage - the slogan of the airline in two languages (Russian and English). This is the second aircraft of the latest type out of three, for the delivery of which a lease agreement was signed between Belavia and AerCap Holdings N.V. leasing company in February 2020.

The main distinguishing characteristic of the Embraer 195-E2 is its economy. The GTF engine, fully enclosed landing gear and larger wing help significantly reduce fuel consumption by 25.4% per passenger seat. Also, Embraer 195-E2 has reduced CAEP / 8 nitrogen oxide emissions by 35% and carbon dioxide emissions by 50%. This makes the aircraft the quietest and most environmentally friendly in its class and makes it possible to reduce the cost of air tickets, while increasing the level of service.

Belavia already uses 13 aircraft of this aero-building conglomerate. The new Embraer 195-E2 will be the fourteenth vessel of Brazilian origin in the airline's fleet.
