Belavia decommissioned its first Boeing 737-500

In accordance with the plan for the modernization of the fleet, Belavia has decommissioned its first Boeing 737-500belavia.by reports.

The Boeing 737 family of aircraft is considered one of the most successful and popular passenger aircraft in the world.

The aircraft entered the company on October 15, 2003. He served for more than 17 years. The famous "500" received the serial number EW-250PA. It was the company's first Western-made aircraft.

The flight number EW-250PA completed 17596 flights and flew 30739 hours. The aircraft had 10 seats in business class and 94 seats in economy class.

After the decommissioning of this aircraft, the average age of the fleet decreased from 9.35 years to 8.9.

At the moment, there is only one Boeing 737-500 in the airline's fleet – with the number EW-290PA, which is planned to be decommissioned by the end of 2021.
