Belavia flights to Batumi were canceled

Belavia has reduced the number of flights to Batumi "in connection with the refusal of the Georgian aviation authorities to issue a permit for a previously agreed number of flights," devby.io writes with a link to Onliner. We remind you that charters will continue to fly from Belarus to Turkey.

Belavia Airlines stated that the Georgian aviation authorities refused to issue a permit for a pre-agreed number of flights to Batumi airport in the summer-2022 season. Therefore, the carrier is forced to reduce the number of flights in this direction. Passengers of cancelled flights can refund the cost of air tickets without deductions during the expiration date of air tickets.

At the moment, Belavia is working on the following options:

  • transfer of passengers on a similar flight to Batumi, performed at other times;
  • transfer of passengers on a flight with arrival at Kutaisi airport. The distance between Batumi and Kutaisi is about 150 km.

At the same time, Minsk — Tbilisi — Minsk flights will be operated daily.
