"Belavia" has restored 65% of air traffic
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Belarusian airline is currently going through a difficult period, minsknews.by reports.
The pandemic has severely affected the airline's operations. Igor Cherginets, General Director of Belavia, said that last year was very difficult for the company, although the pandemic continues, but Belavia is already feeling more confident and is restoring more and more air traffic.
The CEO shared that April was the most difficult month in 2020. The airline carried 92% fewer passengers than at the same time in previous years.
At the moment, "Belavia" has already been able to restore up to 60% - 65% of air traffic and does not stop there.
Igor Cherginets said that passenger traffic has increased to 90% and continues to grow, as well as the number of long-distance flights.
