BelAZ launches mass production of gas-diesel dump trucks

The Zhodinsky enterprise BelAZ starts mass production of gas-diesel dump trucks 7513-S, their carrying capacity is 136 tons, onliner.by reports.

The BelAZ 7513-S mining dump truck has already successfully passed the testing stage. The cars are equipped with a gas-diesel engine based on Cummins KTA50-C.

The project was made possible thanks to the cooperation of the Belarusian plant and ComAp Systems (representative of ComUp, Czech Republic, in Russia), Technoeco (Russia) and CAMSS (official partner of Cummins in Russia).

Gas-diesel dump trucks can replace about 30% of diesel fuel with natural gas, which makes it possible to increase the energy efficiency of transporting rock mass by 20%. The gas-diesel system allows the dump truck to operate for up to 15 hours without refueling.
