Best youth startup was chosen at TIBO Forum

Tenth-grader Andrey Mamaev took 1st place in the nomination "The best youth startup project" of the Belarus ICT Startup Award-2022 competition, the BSU website writes. He developed a project to produce micro- and mesoporous coal from waste of the woodworking industry.

The low cost and quality indicators of the new product will allow it to be produced profitably in Belarus and successfully process waste from the forest industry.

Andrey began conducting his research in 2021 as Deputy Dean of the Chemical Faculty of BSU and head of the Cellulose Solutions laboratory at the University.

We remind you that on June 8, the Belarusian State University took 288th place in the updated QS ranking. This is the highest result in the history of the participation of Belarusian universities in the ranking.
