BNTU has risen in the world ranking of Webometrics universities

The Belarusian National Technical University has risen by 249 positions and took the 2628th line in the list of thirty thousand universities in the world, belta.by reports.

Getting into this rating, the university gets the opportunity to compare the results of its scientific work with the activities of any other university in the world.

The object of the rating analysis is the official websites of universities. Attention was paid to the number of links to them from other sources. The number of site pages indexed by the search engine was taken into account. The citation rate of scientific publications and the number of indexed full-text files on the site were identified.

BNTU indicators in 2021: visibility - 3905 points, openness - 1423, excellence - 4145 points.

The best universities in the world are Harvard, Stanford, the Universities of California and Michigan, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
