Brest enterprises signed contracts for $18 million at the exhibition in Dubai

At EXPO 2020, two contracts were signed with companies from China, four with residents of the United Arab Emirates, BELTA reports.

Contracts have also been signed with residents of Nigeria, Hong Kong, Jordan, Romania, and other countries. Of the 14 contracts worth $18 million, about $8 million were brought by contracts with companies from the UAE. Last year, the volume of exports of the Brest region to the UAE amounted to $5 million.

Among the contracts concluded are contracts for the supply of powdered milk, dry ice cream, and other food products to the Arab market. An agreement has been signed with Chinese partners on the possibility of establishing a heparin production enterprise in the region. Also of interest was the proposal for the production of chargers for electric vehicles and ultrasound machines in Brest.
