BSU entered the TOP 10 universities with patents in Eurasia

In 2022, the Belarusian State University entered the TOP 10 universities by the number of applications for Eurasian patents. The granted patents will be announced within next three years, the press service of the university reported.

In 2022, 43 universities from 8 countries applied for Eurasian patents. Among the leaders are universities from Belarus, Russia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

BSU has been submitting applications to the Eurasian Patent Organization since 2014. During this time, the university has received 42 Eurasian patents. As of February 1 of this year, there are seven Eurasian patents for inventions in BSU.

Currently, BSU students are developing urban transport app to use in Minsk.
