BSU students won prizes at International Mathematical Olympiad

Three students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science of BSU won prizes at the International Mathematical Competition for University Students, the press service of BSU reported.

Pavel Bernyak took 1st place. Alexey Gonimar and Anton Suravezhkin took silver. In total, about 400 students from universities from all over the world took part in the International Mathematical Competition for University Students.

This is the oldest and most prestigious international mathematics competition among university students, which has been held since 1994.
