BSU will cooperate with Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations

A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Belarusian State University and the Secretariat of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the university's website reports.

The agreement is aimed at developing and implementing joint programs and projects, holding scientific and practical conferences, symposiums, seminars, and research on topical issues of lawmaking. The agreement will also help to form a common educational space of the CIS, as well as practical skills for students studying international law and jurisprudence.

The Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States was founded in 1992. The Assembly develops common approaches to solving problems of social policy and ensuring fundamental human rights and freedoms; its activities are focused on the development of humanitarian and cultural cooperation. Also, one of the main tasks of the IPA CIS is the development of recommendatory legislative acts for use in the national legislations of the participating countries.
