BSU will present smart windows and edible packaging at exhibition in Istanbul

The Belarusian State University will present about 30 scientific and technical developments at the MUSIAD EXPO, which will be held from November 2 to 5, in Istanbul, the press service of the University reported.

The University will present antitumor drugs and medical equipment, food additives, veterinary and biological products for the protection and stimulation of plant growth, new materials.

Visitors will be able to get acquainted with a natural sample of multifunctional smart windows. These are liquid crystal panels, which, depending on external factors, change from transparent to matte and vice versa.

The exhibition will also include an edible film of polysaccharides. This is the only type of biodegradable polymer packaging that does not need sorting and special disposal conditions, preserves the taste, aroma, aesthetic appearance and sterility of products.
