BSU will start producing a unique drug for the treatment of brain cancer

Antitumor drug received a registration certificate for the release of the drug, it was issued by the Ministry of health of Belarus, reports ej.by.

The idea, development, production technology, confirmation of the safety and effectiveness of the drug called "Temodex" belong to scientists of the research Institute of physical and chemical problems of BSU, the press service of the University said.

The drug is used in complex surgery for the treatment of brain cancer of varying complexity and is a powder for the preparation of a bio-absorbing hydrogel.

According to Belarusian scientists, the drug has no world analogues.
