BSU works on new materials for optical equipment

BSU scientists are working on creating elements of terahertz optical equipment based on carbon nanomaterials. Such devices are able to "see" through opaque objects, the university's website writes.

Terahertz optics are used in medical tomography, transport security scanners and other fields. Scientists from Research Institutes of Nuclear Problems are engaged in developments with the participation of specialists from Russia, Finland and Lithuania.
