By the end of 2022, Belarusian export may break records
The Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus said that a record export of Belarusian food is expected by the end of this year, BelTA reported.
According to the Minister, Belarus occupies one of the leading places in the world in milk production per capita. At the moment, the country produces 263% of milk from the volume necessary to provide the population. This means that manufacturers can fully supply the domestic market of the country, and also send most of the goods for export.
For 9 months, the total export of Belarusian products brought 5.2 billion US dollars. Exports are expected to reach 8 billion US dollars by the end of the year. Dairy products make up more than 50% of all exported food products.
Belarusian food is exported to more than 100 countries of the world. In addition, supplies to Russia, China, Asia, Oceania, and Africa are increasing.
