CB Insights named the most expensive Belarusian startup in Europe

CB Insights analysts have compiled a map of European startups that attracted the most venture capital, according to dev.by.

According to the company, from 2015 to February 2, 2020, a total of 37 companies raised almost $ 9.2 billion. The valuation of 8 startups exceeds $ 1 billion.

For the rating, CB Insights took into account only startups independent of big players that have openly raised money since 2015 and are not fully owned by one of the shareholders.

The most expensive startup in Belarus was Banuba. The company was started in 2016. It creates computer vision and augmented reality technologies for mobile phones. To date, Banuba has raised $ 12 million from the Prokopenya and Gutseriev funds.
