Changes in the rules for taking a PCR test at the airport

Since April 10, the laboratory at the airport has been conducting PCR tests for COVID-19 only by prior electronic registration on the website www.minsksanepid.by, tut.by reports. Now the cost of such a test for Belarusians traveling abroad will be 95,17 BYN (previously the cost was 39,80 BYN). Also, you need to pay an additional 15 BYN for the service of organizing the testing, when paying on the spot.

You can register on Fridays from 9: 00 for seven days of the following week. Working hours of the laboratory:

•  Monday-Friday 06.30-18.00 (technical break-12.00-13.00);
•  Saturday-Sunday 06.30-17.00 (technical break-12.00-13.00).

The collection of biological material for PCR research is carried out from 08.00 to 16.00 (until 15.00 — Saturday-Sunday).

Delivery of research results after 11.00, but not earlier than 2.5 hours from the moment of collection of the material and registration of documents. The deadline for issuing the result can be extended if the laboratory is busy.

The cost of the PCR test as of April 10 is:

• for residents of the Republic of Belarus - 95,71 BYN;
• for non-residents – 113,48 BYN.

In addition to PCR tests, SARS-CoV-2 antigen tests can be taken at the airport, they are carried out from 06.30 to 17.30. The delivery of research results is carried out within 30 minutes from the moment of collecting the material and processing the documents. But the time limit for issuing the result can be increased if the laboratory is busy. Some countries accept not only a PCR test, but also an antigen test upon entry. This information should be specified individually.

On April 1 the cost of this test was :

• for residents of the Republic of Belarus – 44,69 BYN;
• for non-residents – 48,48 BYN.

People who traveling abroad from Belarus can do PCR tests not only at the airport. Now PCR test can be done in at least 24 state organizations of the country. The cost of the test for Belarusians in such organizations will be a little more than 40 BYN, for non-residents of the Republic of Belarus – a little more than 60 BYN.
