Children's Railway opens a new season

On May 1, the children's railway in Minsk will start its 66th season,  minsknews.by reports.

On Labor Day at 9:30 at the Zaslonovo station, a solemn meeting of young railway workers will be held. At 11:00, the first Metropolitan Express train will depart on the traditional route - from "Zaslonovo" station through "Pionerskaya" station to "Sosnovy Bor" station and back.

In May, trains will run on Saturdays and Sundays. In honor of the Victory Day on May 9, a festive concert will be held at the Zaslonovo station.

In trains, seating is provided taking into account the social distance, and passengers must also observe the mask mode.

Ticket price – 4 rubles.

The children's railway is a real railway with diesel locomotives and cars, drivers and conductors, and a special feature is the fact that almost all the roles are performed by children themselves: the train is run by children, the conductors are children, the controllers are children, and even the role of the stationmaster is performed by children.
