China delivered a new batch of COVID-19 vaccine to Belarus

Belarus has received two million doses of Sinopharm (Vero Cell) vaccine from China, Sputnik reported. Disposable syringes were also shipped along with the drug.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry clarifies that an agreement on gratuitous assistance from China was reached between the heads of Belarus and China.

China has become the first country to provide Belarus with a humanitarian vaccine against coronavirus. In 2021-2022, China shipped about 5 million doses of the vaccine to Belarus. In addition, Belarus has purchased more than 4.6 million doses from China.
