CIS observers have started monitoring the referendum in Belarus

The CIS observer mission has started monitoring the republican referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, BELTA writes.

The chair of the Central Commission of Belarus has given accreditation certificates to observers. Representatives of the CIS will carry out surveillance in Belarus for the 11th time.

The main voting day is scheduled for February 27. It will be possible to vote for amendments and additions to the Basic Law ahead of schedule: from February 22 to February 26.
