Citizens of Germany, Estonia and Italy are the leaders among visitors to Belarus
According to the State Border Committee of Belarus, in 2024, citizens of Germany, Estonia and Italy used the extended visa-free regime more often than others, BelTA reports.
Since the beginning of the year, 145,007 citizens of neighboring EU countries have visited Belarus without a visa, including 54,829 citizens of Latvia, 60,329 citizens of Lithuania and 29,849 citizens of Poland.
Since the introduction of the extended visa-free regime on July 19, 2024, more than 3,300 foreigners from 35 European countries have visited Belarus, with German citizens accounting for 38% of the total number of tourists.
