Citizens of Ukraine will receive equal rights with Belarusians
The President of Belarus has signed a decree according to which the citizens of Ukraine who have arrived in the country will be equal in rights with Belarusians, Sputnik reported.
The decree provides for rights in several areas: the right to free education at any level, affordable medical care, paying of child allowances and retirement pensions. In addition, according to the provisions of the decree, citizens of Ukraine are exempt from paying most of the state duties related to the registration of stay and obtaining a work permit.
As the State Border Committee of Belarus reported earlier, as of September 9, more than 50 thousand people have arrived from Ukraine since February 24 this year.
