Clinical trials of the first Belarusian knee prosthesis conducted

Clinical trials of the Belarusian knee joint, which was also implanted, have been successfully conducted at the RNPC of Traumatology and Orthopedics, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported.

The joint was developed and manufactured in the Scientific and Technological Park of the Belarusian National Technical University. Recently, the protease was implanted in a patient with osteoarthritis of the knee joint.

This model of knee protease is intended for the treatment of severe forms of osteoarthritis of the knee joint. After receiving the registration certificate of the protease, its clinical trials will continue.
