Competitions in seven sports will be held in Minsk

Minsk will host competitions in seven sports of the II CIS Games, BelTA reported. Aryna Sabalenka retains the position of the world's second racket.

According to the head of the Main Department of Sports and Tourism of the Minsk City Executive Committee, the sports facilities designated for the competition are ready. Among them are the Palace of Rhythmic Gymnastics, Minsk-Arena, Sport Palace, Palova-arena, Čyžoŭka-Arena, Sports Complex Uruchye, Shooting Sports Center.

Minsk has received the status of the sports capital of the CIS 2023. A large number of sports locations are concentrated on the territory of the city. The II CIS Games will be held in Belarus from August 4 to 14, 2023.
