Construction of Chinese swimming pool and stadium in Minsk to be finished in 2024

Chinese companies are building a National football stadium and an International standard swimming pool in Minsk. The President signed decrees according to which the swimming pool and stadium should be built by December 31, 2024, Sputnik reported.

The construction of these sports facilities began in 2019. The projects are fully funded by the Chinese side, about 290 million US dollars have been allocated for their construction.

An international standard swimming pool is being built on Kalvariyskaya Street. The National Football Stadium is being built at the intersection of Partyzanski praspekt and Vaniejeva Street. It is designed for 33 thousand seats and will be the largest in Belarus.

The biggest shopping center in the country has recently opened in Minsk.
