Construction work to be continued in Red Church of Minsk in 2024

The most famous Catholic Red Church in Minsk was closed in the fall of 2022 after a small fire. The city administration announced that the reconstruction will continue in 2024, Sputnik reported.

In the first four months of 2024, work should begin inside the building. After their completion, a decision will be made to resume the activities of the church.

On the night of September 25, 2022, wiring burned in the Church of Saints Simon and Helena, as a result of which the fire affected 20 square meters. There were no casualties.

Last week, the construction of a large Chinese embassy was completed in Minsk.
